The bride is a daughter of William and Violet Brown, 86 Court St., Mercer.

Bridegroom’s parents are Walter and Rosemary Darraugh, 797 Clarksville Road, Mercer.

Matron of honor was Anessa Bearer, Hastings, Pa., bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Jessica Whiting, Mercer; Brittany Lupo, Slippery Rock; and Ishia Brickey, Havelock, N.C.

John Darraugh, Mercer, groom’s brother, was best man. Ushers were Cpl. Gregory Williams and Sgt. Brian Brickey, both of Havelock; and Jeff Delorenzo, Mercer.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Nicole and Tyler Bearer, bride’s niece and nephew, respectively, both of Hastings.

A traditional military sword arch was held outdoors with Cpl. Anthony Frank, Cpl. Melvin Reno and Cpl. Herbert Barber, all of Havelock, as swordbearers.

A reception was in Station One Banquet Center, Greenville.

Mrs. Darraugh earned a degree in elementary education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. While living locally, she was a substitute teacher for various school districts.

Her husband is on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Foster in Okinawa, Japan, where the newlyweds now reside.
