Legendary Greenville High football coach Ed Snyder was honored by former players and friends for his 95th birthday Saturday during a party at the Gallery Grille at the Greens of Greenville.
Snyder, also former commissioner of the Northwest Football Conference, was presented a portrait of the former Penn High by Howard "Butch" Weyers, co-owner of the course.
Snyder also played a 9-hole putting course laid out by Weyers and brought cheers from the crown when he knocked in a few long ones.
