More than 200 wrestlers from western Pennsylvania competed in a Pennsylvania Wrestling Federation qualifying tournament hosted by the F.H. Buhl Club Saturday.
The top finishers in each weight class in several age divisions earned spots in the PWF State Freestyle and Greco-Roman Championships in mid-June. Winners there earn berths on the state team to represent the commonwealth at nationals.
Wrestlers from several area school districts and local mat clubs participated in the event, operated by the Buhl Bad Karma Bulldawgz team staff and tourney director Mark Steen.
