First Presbyterian taking ‘Vatican Treasures’ trip

SHARON — A bus trip to Western Reserve Historical Museum in Cleveland for the “Vatican Treasures” exhibit will leave at 8:30 a.m. Saturday from the parking lot of First Presbyterian Church, 600 E. State St.

The more than 200 items includes pieces never before displayed, some dating from the Third Century and including relics of St. Peter and works by Michelangelo. Cost is $30. Call 724-9812211 for reservations.

First United Methodist changing schedule

SHARON — First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., will change its worship schedule starting this weekend.

“Faith Café” worship will be at 6 p.m. Saturdays. Worship will be 9 and 11 a.m.; children’s choir rehearsal, 9:30 a.m.; and “Creation Station” for children and adult Christian education, 10 a.m., all Sundays.
