Full Gospel Business group slates meeting
SHARON — Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship will meet at 6:30 p.m. today in Keystone Blind Association, 1230 Stambaugh Ave. Those attending are invited to bring a friend.
Community Baptist to have minister ordained
FARRELL — An ordination service for Minister Jimmie Wilder is set for 4 p.m. Sunday in Community Missionary Baptist Church, 1013 Emerson Ave.
Rev. Brian Johnson, pastor of New Light Missionary Baptist Church, Sharon, will serve as ordination messenger.
Rev. Joseph Davis, pastor of Friendship Baptist Church, Farrell, and president of Shenango Valley Ministerial Association, will serve as ordination catechizer.
Rev. James McKeithen, pastor of Second Baptist Church, Sharpsville, will deliver the charge to Minister Wilder.
Various pastors of the valley also will participate. The host church’s choir will render the music.
Hadley Presbyterian plans praise celebration
HADLEY — A celebration of praise is set for 7 p.m. Sunday in Hadley Presbyterian Church, Church Street.
Rev. Roy Harriger of Lyndonville, N.Y., will speak. Fellowship and music will be part of the event.
Rev. Woodson to visit Word of Life Christian
HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP — Rev. Woody Woodson will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Word of Life Christian Center, 127 Wasser Road.
He was an instructor for eight years at Victory Bible Institute in Tulsa, Okla.; and for two years at Trinity Bible Institute in St. Louis, Mo.
The published author has ministered with those including Billy Jo Daughrety, Oral Roberts, Morrio Muerillo, Jesse Duplantis and Tommy Barnett.
