Bible Baptist Church of Mercer, corner of state Route 58 and McMillan Road, Findley Township
• 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 14 through 17, for ages 5 and older.
Theme: “A Birthday Party for Jesus.” Bible lessons, holiday treats, and prizes, including a trip to a Scrappers game, will be included. Closing program will be at 7 p.m. July 18.

Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian, 443 N. Main St., Harrisville
• 9 a.m. to noon July 7 through 12, for ages 2 through the completion of sixth grade.
Theme: “Christian Race Summer Olympian.” Costumed Bible storytellers, singing, snacks and crafts will be included.

Emmanuel Christian Church, 4495 Greenville-Sandy Lake Road (Route 358), New Vernon Township
• 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 21 through 25, for ages 4 by June 1 through sixth grade.
Theme: “Amazon Expedition.” Singing, crafts, games and lunch will be included. Transportation is available to and from Stoneboro, Sandy Lake and Jackson Center fire halls; Commodore Perry High School, Sandy Creek Township; and Greenville High School. Those riding the bus must register by July 17.

First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon
• 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, for all ages.
Theme: “Jerusalem Marketplace.” Child care is available with registration. Donations will be taken for dinner.

A church’s VBS listing will run a maximum of two times “ an initial announcement on the Friday of that church’s choosing, and a reminder on the Friday before the VBS week.
The following information is requested: Church name and address, VBS dates, daily starting and finishing times, ages eligible (if a school grade is used instead, specify if eligibility is for those who have completed that grade or will be entering that grade in the fall), theme, some planned activities including closing program (optional), and phone numbers for information or registration and/or transportation.
