Grove City
Someone broke into a home at 312 College Ave. between Aug. 18 and Saturday. Nothing was taken and it appears the burglar spent a night inside, police said.
Jordan Patrick Ruddy, 21, of 610 Riverside Ave., Grove City, was charged Thursday with accidents involving death or personal injury, speeding, failure to give information and render aid, three license violations, driving with suspended registration, driving on wrong side of roadway and driving on roadways laned for traffic for a July 30 accident on East Main Street near Liberty Street, police said.
Someone stole a purse containing three bottles of Vicodin, Oxycodine and muscle relaxers from a car parked at 221 Jackson St. between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The purse was recovered without the prescription painkillers behind a business at 119 S. Broad St., police said.
Pymatuning Township
David M. McCarl, 20, of 49 N. Second St., Greenville, was charged with possession of a small amount and marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:59 p.m. Sunday at a home on 12th Street, police said.
Someone stole an Industry, Pa., mans red Blackberry worth $500 around 8:35 a.m. Sunday after he accidentally left it inside Sheetz, 270 Edgewood Drive Extension, police said.
Sharon
Someone stole a canvas roof from a portable gazebo and a handtruck between 11 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday from the back yard of a home in the 800 block of Baldwin Avenue, police said. The items are worth $300, police said. Police said the thief likely intended to take the whole gazebo, which was found partially disassembled.
Elizabeth Baun, 18, of 4060 Orangeville Road, South Pymatuning Township, and four juveniles were each cited for trespassing about 3 p.m. Sunday at a vacant house in the 200 block of Russell Street, police said.
The other teens were a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old girl from Sharon, a 17-year-old boy from Hubbard and a 16-year-old boy from Sharon who was also charged with possession of marijuana, police said.
Someone stole a 32-inch flat-screen television, three Xbox 360 game consoles and new childrens clothing between 3 and 6 p.m. Saturday from a home in the 400 block of South Oakland Avenue, police said. The items are worth more than $1,200.
Someone stole copper pipe and a refrigerator compressor sometime prior to 2 p.m. Thursday from a vacant home in the 300 block of Quinby Street, police said. The burglar likely broke a basement window to get inside, police said.
Sharpsville
Alexander D. Weilacker, 23, of 318 Baldwin Ave., Sharon, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was picked up on a warrant at 9:09 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Main Street, police said.
Adrienne R. Laskey, 28, of 1330 Highland Road, Sharon, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after she fought with police and tried to kick the windows of a cruiser about 4 a.m. Sunday. Police said Ms. Laskey had to be electronically shocked to subdue her police found her and a man fighting in the middle of the intersection at Mercer Avenue and Walnut Street.
The man, Robert M. Richards Jr., 32, of 1755 Scrubgrass Road, Findley Township, told police he stopped his car in the middle of the road because Ms. Laskey tried to jump out. He was picked up on a warrant, police said.
Southwest Mercer County Regional
Someone stole 1,000 pounds of scrap metal sometime before about 9:40 a.m. Friday on Council Avenue in Wheatland, police said.
Someone cut and stole copper piping sometime before 10 a.m. Friday after breaking into the basement of a vacant church in the 600 block of Fruit Avenue, Farrell, police said.
A ladder and cooking roasters were also stolen and the churchs hot water heater was damaged, police said.
Somone stole a couch and appliances sometime before 6 p.m. Friday from an unoccupied home in the 1200 block of Negley Street, Farrell, police said.
State police
Five wallets were stolen from race trailers in the pit area of Mercer Raceway Park, Coolspring Township, while the drivers were racing between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Archie Torreance, 25, of 924 Sherman Ave., Sharon; at 4:05 p.m. Saturday police on a bench warrant for failure to pay more than $2,000 in fines for six citations for driving under suspension.

Douglas M. DiClaudio, 19, of 3091 Main St., West Middlesex; at about 10:10 a.m. Sunday at his home on warrants for burglary and criminal trespass from South Pymatuning Township police.
Willie J. Mays, 40, of 648 Spruce Ave., Sharon; at about 12:05 a.m. Monday in the 900 block of Hamilton Avenue, Farrell, for failing to make payment.
