West Salem Township
• Someone broke into vacant homes at 127 and 129 Clinton streets, Greenville, Thursday night or Friday morning and it’s unknown if anything besides flowers from the yards were stolen, police said.
• Someone broke into the concession stand at Greenville Memorial Swimming Pool in Riverside Park Thursday night or Friday morning and stole candy, police said.
• Someone stole a red, Country Clipper Boss zero-turn mower between Wednesday and Friday from Anchor Tractor, 64 Sharon Road, West Salem Township, police said.
• Two women were hurt when their car collided with a pickup truck at 9:52 a.m. Friday at Williamson and Conneaut Lake roads, West Salem Township, police said.
Raymond E. Burnett, 66, of 3270 W. County Line Road, Greene Township, stopped at the stop sign on Williamson and pulled his westbound truck into the path of a southbound car on Conneaut Lake, driven by Kathleen T. Prusia, 65, Guys Mills, police said.
Burnett told police he didn’t see the oncoming car.
Ms. Prusia and her passenger, Katherine Baker, Saegertown, were taken to UPMC Horizon, Greenville, for treatment of unknown injuries, police said. A nursing supervisor said they weren’t listed as patients.
Hempfield Township
• Someone broke into two vacant homes on Leech Road during the past week but it appears nothing was stolen, police said.
• Two tires worth $400 were cut on a vehicle parked at a Ruth Street home Wednesday night or Thursday morning, police said.
Hermitage
• Someone broke into a home and stole $200 and keys, using them to drive off with the resident’s car, a tan 2007 Ford Taurus, worth about $15,000, at about 6:15 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of Dutch Lane, police said.
