Three more men have been charged with robbery in connection with the shooting death of a Sharon teen Nov. 6 on Wallis Avenue.

John B. Hosey III, 18, of 422 Malleable St., died from two gunshot wounds to the torso after gunfire was exchanged in a drug deal turned robbery about 1:45 a.m. in the 800 block of Wallis.

There are warrants for the arrest of the three men, one of whom also faces eight counts of aggravated assault, but as of Friday afternoon they had not been identified or apprehended by police, Chief Mike Menster said.

No one has been charged yet with killing Hosey.

On Wednesday night, Terry J. Greene, 28, of 833 Wallis Ave., Sharon, was picked up on a warrant for robbery for his role in trying to steal $1,500 from a group of people who thought they were at his home to buy drugs, police said. Greene is Hosey’s brother.

District Judge Dennis M. Songer Friday morning arraigned Christopher L. Swogger, 22, of 364 Ellsworth St., Sharon, on a charge of drug conspiracy.

According to court documents, Swogger and John Dunder, 21, of Sharpsville, went with Mark McNulty, 21, and his wife Ashley, 20, to buy a pound of marijuana. The McNultys suffered superficial gunshot wounds in the altercation, police said.

Swogger was arrested Nov. 6 in Hubbard and spent a week in Trumbull County Jail. On Friday, he was taken to Mercer County Jail after failing to post $30,000 bond.

Dunder on Friday stipulated a drug conspiracy charge against him to Mercer County Common Pleas Court. That means he acknowledged that if the judge had heard testimony enough evidence would have been presented for him to hold the charges over to higher court.

A preliminary hearing on a drug conspiracy charge against Alexander Lee, 28, of Farrell, was continued Friday. Lee set up the drug deal and helped plan the robbery, police have said.

A neighbor charged with tampering with evidence and loitering and prowling at night for knocking a garbage toter over onto a shotgun police believe was used by the robbers had those charges held to court Friday, as well.

Bryan A. Hall, 22, of 818 New Castle Ave., had his bond reduced from $10,000 to $2,500. It was unclear Friday afternoon if he would post bail and be released from Mercer County Jail, where he had been held since the morning of the shooting.
