A man who robbed Sky Bank’s Greenville branch in 2004 was ordered to spend to 1 day in prison and an additional 3 years of supervised release for failing to make restitution payments or turn over financial documents.

Jeremy Clark, 37, whose current address is not listed in court documents, pleaded guilty March 24, 2005, to bank larceny and conspiracy to commit bank larceny for his role in the July 13, 2004, robbery.

Clark, formerly of Hermitage and Sharon, was the former branch manager of the bank and obtained security codes from another employee, federal officials said. He and his then-roommate, Justin Fortuna, 29, used the codes to enter the bank at 4:30 a.m., federal officials said.

They broke two windows to make it appear that someone had broken in, and removed a videocassette recorder used as bank security.

They stole about $144,500 from the bank’s vault, officials said.

Fortuna pleaded guilty to bank larceny and was sentenced June 28, 2005, to 15 months in prison and 3 years’ supervised release. Clark was sentenced teh same day to 18 months in prison and 3 years’ supervised release. Clark served more than 15 months in prison.

The probation office last month alleged that Clark was not making good on his requirement to pay 25 percent of his monthly net income. He had only made 10 payments -- for $2,636 on a debt of $133,859 -- between March 13, 2007, and March 18, 2009.

The probation office said it requested in August that Clark turn over his 2008 tax filings in order that a determination could be made of his delinquent restitution, but he never complied.

U.S. District Court Judge Alan N. Bloch, Pittsburgh, held a hearing Thursday, at which Clark admitted the violations, according to a court filing. Bloch sentenced Clark to 1 year in jail followed by 3 years’ less 1 day on supervised release. Bloch also ordered minimum monthly payments of $250.
