MERCER

A former Mercer man was killed Friday when a tree he was cutting fell on top of him near his home in Cranesville, Erie County.

Kenneth Scott Duncan, 44, died about 6 p.m. Friday while cutting down two trees on his property on West Road, an Erie County Deputy Coroner told the Erie Times-News.

The coroner’s office said his death was an accident, the newspaper said.

Duncan was a graduate of Mercer High School and a member of Center Presbyterian Church in Grove City.
