Four men arrested in drunken brawl
GREENVILLE — Four men were arrested after a fight Thursday behind a local bar.
Greenville-West Salem Township police released the information Sunday. They didn’t name the bar.
Terrance Peoples, 28, whose address wasn’t released, was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Peoples broke a beer bottle over the head of one of the other fighters, police said.
The other men, Stephen J. Sagenich, 31, Mercer; and Samuel L. Chess, 26, and Robert L. Hughes, 27, both of Greenville, were each charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, police said.
Identity thieves rack up $19,716 of debt
PINE TOWNSHIP — A Grove City area man was bilked out of $19,716 in a case of identity theft that started May 27, state police said.
Larry Kiser, 51, of 221 Daugherty Road, Pine Township, told police someone opened a $22,500 line of credit in his name and withdrew $19,716 from the account, police said.
Burglary reported at Clem’s Auto Center
WORTH TOWNSHIP — Someone broke into Clem’s Auto Center between 6 and 10:30 p.m. Thursday and stole $2,224 worth of sundry items.
The business, located at 1084 Millbrook Road in Worth Township, was locked and the thieves broke in and stole a digital recording surveillance system, $100 in cash, nine catalytic converters and 14 car rims, state police said.
