Road work

PennDOT will perform work on these Mercer County roads beginning Monday:
• State Route 18; crack sealing.
• College Avenue; patching.
• Mercer-New Castle Road, Wilmington Township; patching.
• Hermitage Road, Hermitage; patch pipe trenches.
• State Route 208; patching.
• State Route 318 viaduct; crack sealing.
• State Route 358; crack sealing.
• Coal Hill Road; paving and ditching.
• Wasser Bridge Road; paving.
• Kidds Mill Road, Pymatuning Township; crack sealing.
• Greenville-Sheakleyville Road; ditching.
• Pulaski Road; pipe replacement.
• Bedford Road, Shenango Township; ditching.
• State Route 58; sidewalk repairs.
• U.S. Route 62; patching and crack sealing.
• Interstate 79 rest area; crack sealing.
• Interstate 79; washing bridge decks.

The Ohio Dept. of Transportation will continue working on these Trumbull County roads:
• State Routes 5 and 7 in Kinsman, Vernon and Johnston townships -- daily lane restrictions for resurfacing. The project is scheduled to be complete by September.
• State Route 82 in Vienna and Brookfield townships -- reduced to one lane in each direction for resurfacing. The project is scheduled to end by late summer.
• State Route 304 in the city of Hubbard -- just east of U.S. 62 and state Route 7 closed until late June. The detour is take Interstate 80 to Pennsylvania Route 60 then Route 318. The work is part of a $500,000 project to re-deck the bridge over Mud Run Creek and should be complete by September.
