A Hermitage man died Monday evening after his pickup crashed on Lamor Road, Hermitage, police said.
Brian Kuster, 35, of 4674 Whippoorwill Drive, died of a skull fracture at 8:20 p.m. in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, said Mercer County Coroner J. Bradley McGonigle III, who ruled the death accidental.
Kuster was a son of Hermitage attorney Thomas W. Kuster and his wife, Mitzi.
Kuster was westbound at 7:20 p.m., approaching a left curve east of Robertson Road near Sandy Lane when his pickup went off the right side of the road into a ditch and onto its roof, police said.
The pickup slid for 180 feet along the ditch until it hit a driveway embankment, police said.
Hermitage firefighters freed Kuster.
Police said an expert will reconstruct the accident, and toxicology tests will be conducted to determine whether drugs or alcohol were in his system, a standard for all vehicular deaths. Police said there was no evidence at the scene that Kuster was speeding or that he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
