The Shenango Valley Relay for Life committee would like to thank all that supported our first annual beer and food tasting, held on April 3 at D’Avanzo’s Italian Grill. This first time event raised over $1,200 for our fight against cancer.
The overwhelming support of the individual teams and hard work of the committee members ensured this event was successful.
Relay For Life is a life- changing event that brings together more than 3.5 million people to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and empower individuals to fight back against a disease that takes too much.
American Cancer Society’s transportation program, Road to Recovery, as well as support and counseling programs like Man to Man and Reach to Recovery will continue to be provided to all those battling cancer due to successful events such as this.
On behalf of all the cancer patients who are served by the American Cancer Society, and their families, we thank you for the hope you share and services you make possible.
