Published October 10, 2008 07:35 pm - A funeral service will be held Monday for F. Evelyn Turner McCulloch, 6675 Applewood Blvd., Boardman, OH 44512. She passed away peacefully at 10:47 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, in her residence after an extended illness. She was 90.

BOARDMAN, Ohio — A funeral service will be held Monday for F. Evelyn Turner McCulloch, 6675 Applewood Blvd., Boardman, OH 44512. She passed away peacefully at 10:47 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, in her residence after an extended illness. She was 90.

Mrs. McCulloch was born Nov. 14, 1917, in Greenville to Clare S. and Mary Blanche Hillman Turner.

She was a 1935 graduate of Farrell High School.

As a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon, she belonged to the Couplers Class and had been a choir director for the former Farrell Presbyterian Church before it merged with Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Evelyn loved music, traveling, reading and spending time with her family.

Her husband, Marcus A. McCulloch, whom she married July 7, 1940, passed away May 15, 1985.

Surviving are: a daughter, Suzan and her husband Dr. Earl Hedrick, Boardman; a son, Marcus Douglas McCulloch and his wife Laurel, Toledo, Ohio; a sister, Bernice Houk, Ellwood City; and five grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Paul Turner.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, OH 44512.

Calling hours: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday (10-12-08) in HAROLD W. STEVENSON FUNERAL HOME, 264 E. State St., Sharon. Condolences may be e-mailed to stevensonfh1@verizon.net

Service: Funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday (10-13-08) in the funeral home with the Rev. Chris Wright, director of Pastoral Care Ministries of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Sharon, officiating.

Interment: Mount Washington Cemetery, Jefferson Township.
