Published August 27, 2008 01:47 pm - DeSOTO, Miss. — Francis “Fran” E. Davison of Lake Milton, Ohio, passed away Sunday (8-24-08) in Baptist Memorial Hospital in DeSoto. He was 62.

DeSOTO, Miss. — Francis “Fran” E. Davison of Lake Milton, Ohio, passed away Sunday (8-24-08) in Baptist Memorial Hospital in DeSoto. He was 62.
Mr. Davison was born Sept. 25, 1945, in Summerhill Township, Pa., a son of Leslie F. and Anna Mae Rice Davison.
He retired in August 2000 from General Motors Corp.’s Lordstown (Ohio) car assembly plant where he worked in welder maintenance.
He was an Army veteran and served in the Army Reserves. He belonged to the 1714 Retirees Club and enjoyed fishing, traveling and gaming.
Fran leaves: his longtime companion, Wendy Fedor, Lake Milton; a son, Edward Davison, Reno, Nev.; two stepsons, Greg and Chris Fedor, both Austintown, two grandsons; Chase and Joshua; a brother, William Davison, Hubbard; and two sisters, Patti and her husband John Dye, Jamestown; and Ginny and her husband Jim Tataseo, Columbiana.
Fran was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Service: Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Burial: Brunstetters Cemetery, Austintown, Ohio.
