Katherine A. Draa died Wednesday (5-14-08) in Hermitage. She was 90.

A longtime Vernon, Ohio, resident, Mrs. Draa lived in Sharon for the past seven years. She was born Sept. 14, 1917, in Ashtabula, Ohio.

On May 3, 1937, she married Adelbert Gray. He died May 4, 1964.

She then married Gordon P. Draa on July 6, 1973. He died April 5, 2000.

She was a member of the former Fountain of Living Waters Church in Farmdale, Ohio, and most recently attended Rock of Grace Family Ministries of Vernon.

Mrs. Draa enjoyed gardening, canning, baking and cooking.

Along with her husbands, she is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Beverly J. Benton; a brother, Lyle A. Draa; and an infant granddaughter.

Survivors include her son, Ronald C. Gray, Sharon; a stepson, Roy R. Draa, Kinsman; a sister, Amy Nizen and her husband Stan, Jefferson, Ohio; six grandchildren, Donald Benton Jr. and his wife Sheri, Robert Benton, Dennis Gray and Maria Gray, Denise Moore, and Darice Draa; and five great-grandchildren.
