Published May 15, 2008 01:42 pm - DELTONA, Fla. — A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday for Angeline Rotell, formerly of Indiana Avenue, Farrell. She went to be with our Lord on Sunday, May 11, 2008, in the home of her daughter in Deltona, at the age of 97.

Delphi retiree was devout, known for visiting shut-ins
DELTONA, Fla. — A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday for Angeline Rotell, formerly of Indiana Avenue, Farrell. She went to be with our Lord on Sunday, May 11, 2008, in the home of her daughter in Deltona, at the age of 97.
Mrs. Rotell was born on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 1911, in Hillsville, Pa., a daughter of Antonio and Theresa Galizia Sarcinella. The family later settled in Farrell.
Angeline married Joseph Rotell, now deceased, with whom she had three children.
Mrs. Rotell was a devoutly religious person, belonging most of her life to Our Lady of Fatima Church in Farrell.
Angie worked at Delphi Packard Electric Systems in Warren, Ohio, for 30 years, retiring in 1972.
During Angeline’s retirement years, she made numerous trips to Italy and traveled to many places including the Vatican and Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine in France.
Angie was well-known in the Farrell area, visiting shut-ins. She belonged to the cavatelli ladies of the church and the Altar-Rosary Society.
She will be sadly missed by all of her family and all who knew this wonderful person.
Survivors include: her loving children, Delores Cole, with whom she made her home for the past six years in Deltona; Anthony Rotell of Dunedin, Fla.; and Jaquelyn Parimuha, Daytona Beach, Fla.; a sister, Florence Sarcinella of Farrell; and seven beloved grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Phillip, Louis, John and Frank Sarcinella; and seven sisters, Elizabeth Bosco, Clara Gizzi, Ann Porovecchio, Mary Gabriele, Rose Falconi, Armenia Sarcinella and Jennie Sarcinella.

Burial: St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Hermitage.
