LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Trumbull County — Martha E. Hideg, formerly of Brookfield, died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday (4-30-08) in Liberty (Township) Health Care Center after a lengthy illness. She was 79.

Mrs. Hideg was born on May 27, 1928, in Farrell, a daughter of Nicholas and Celia Herman Kress.

She was a 1946 graduate of Farrell High School and a member of Holy Trinity Church, Farrell.

Her husband, John J. Hideg, whom she married Oct. 22, 1949, died in November of 1997.

She is survived by: her sons, James Hideg and his wife Margaret, Liberty Township; and Richard Hideg and his wife Judy, Warren, Ohio; and by her daughter, Janelle Hideg, Columbus, Ohio.

Seven grandchildren, Erin, Briana, Jared, Nick, Evan, Joshua, and Justin also survive.

Besides her husband, Martha was preceded in death by parents and her sister, Jennie Vaso.
