Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wombacker of Hermitage announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Leigh Wombacker, to Craig Alan Smargiasso, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Smargiasso of Sharpsville.

Megan is a 2004 graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage, and a December 2007 graduate of Kent (Ohio) State University’s Honors College, with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting, marketing and management. The bride-to-be is a graduate student at Kent State, pursuing her master of business administration degree. She plans to complete her degree in May 2009.

Craig is a 2001 graduate of Sharpsville Area High School and a 2005 graduate of Thiel College, Greenville, with a bachelor of science degree in biology and pre-medicine. The groom-elect is studying at Indiana University’s School of Optometry in Bloomington. He expects to receive his doctor of optometry degree in May 2009.

Megan and Craig are planning a fall 2009 wedding.
