An Oct. 18, 2008, wedding is planned by Allison Leigh Turk and Ray Ellington.

The future bride is a daughter of Jeffrey and Nancy Turk, 1470 Skyline Drive, Hermitage.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Steven and Patricia Ellington, 1491 Warrenton Road, Henderson, N.C.

The betrothed are alumni of Ithaca (N.Y.) College. Miss Turk, Charlottesville, Va., earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees; her fiance, Lexington, Va., a master’s.

The bride-to-be graduated from Hickory High School, Hermitage. She is an occupational therapist with UVA Health South, Charlottesville.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from Kerr-Vance Academy and Greensboro (N.C.) College, with a bachelor’s degree. He is campus recreation coordinator for Washington and Lee University in Lexington.
