Kelly Marie Blakley and Scot Douglas Williamson have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is a daughter of Barb Blakley, Butler; and Dave and Paula Blakley, Mercer.

Parents of the future bridegroom are Doug and Judi Williamson, Grove City.

Miss Blakley is a 2000 graduate of Grove City High School and a 2003 graduate of Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, New Castle. She is a registered nurse in the intensive care unit of Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township.

Her fiance graduated from Grove City High School in 2002, and is employed by George Junior Republic, Pine Township. He also serves as a lieutenant with Grove City Volunteer Fire Department.

The couple are planning an Aug. 16 wedding in Grove City.
