• The Mia Bella Traveling Boutique will partner with UPMC Horizon to hold a fundraiser benefiting the Oncology Patient Care Fund from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 16 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 17 in the hospital lobby, Farrell.

Fundraisers
• The Mia Bella Traveling Boutique will partner with UPMC Horizon to hold a fundraiser benefiting the Oncology Patient Care Fund from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 16 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 17 in the hospital lobby, Farrell.
The boutique features funky, traditional, and unique jewelry, evening bags, and fashion accessories. Featured items have been handpicked from New York and other major cities.
The fund was established in 1999 and also supports charitable organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
• Penn State Shenango will hold its 2nd annual “Flip a Five” pancake breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 10 in the Sharon Hall building on Penn Avenue in Sharon. The event is being sponsored by the campus’ United Way of Mercer County Campaign committee and the Student Government Association. A special performance by singer Sara Michelle Liska, who has performed with several country artists and is a student at Penn State Shenango, will be at 10 a.m.
Holiday events
• A Holiday Christmas Home-Based Business Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 13 at Hickory United Methodist Church, 240 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage, (next to Shenango Valley Mall, near the Sears entrance). Admission: $1 or donation of one canned good, which will go to the Salvation Army.

• The annual Christmas Cookie Walk at the Presbyterian Church of West Middlesex, 3082 Main St., runs from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 13. There will be a wide assortment of homemade cookies for sale. This fundraiser is sponsored by the Mission Committee.
• A gospel concert is set for 2 p.m. Dec. 13 in Farrell High School’s auditorium to benefit the Farrell High boys volleyball team. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Gospel singers and groups are being sought to perform one or two selections for the event.

• Fredonia Borough’s Christmas in the Park begins at 6 p.m. Sunday in the park. There will be a lighting of the tree, caroling, Santa Claus, hot chocolate, cookies, bon fire and horse drawn wagon rides.
