Holiday events
•Wimodausis Christmas party will begin with a luncheon at noon Dec. 9 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in New Castle.
This year we will be blessed with the Choir from Shenango High School.
Reservations: Dorothy Bort, Fairmont Avenue or Judy Barron, Maitland Lane, both New Castle, by Dec. 5.
•Breakfast with Santa begins at 9 a.m. Dec. 5 in the cafeteria of Kennedy Catholic High School, 2120 Shenango Valley Freeway, Hermitage.
Come enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice, coffee and tea and a visit from Santa.
Cost is $5 for adults and $4 for children. Reservations: 724-346-5531 by Dec. 1.
•Emmanuel Christian Church will host a community Christmas party from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 12 in the Stoneboro Fire Hall, 38 Linden St. Free family fun for all. Children and adults of all ages will be treated to a Christmas musical, games, prizes, candy and refreshments. Numerous door prizes will be given away.
Fundraisers
•Holy Cross Church, Maple Drive, Hermitage holds pumpkin roll sales on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. through Dec. 2.
•Henderson United Methodist Church, Polk Road, Worth Township, is having a hunter’s chili dinner from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 30.
Meal includes homemade chili, bread, piece of pie and beverage.
Cost for adults is $7 and children younger than age 10 is $3. Chili will also be sold by the quart for $4.
•Vincent United Methodist Church, 20 Walnut St., Jackson Center, holds a hunter’s breakfast from 5 to 7 a.m. Nov. 30.
Menu includes eggs, pancakes, home fries, bacon, sausage, toast and beverage for $7 and fill your thermos for $2.
