Fundraisers
• Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department serves a stuffed pork chop or stuffed chicken breast dinner at 4 p.m. Dec. 5 in the municipal building, 7407 Lamor Road.

• St. Vincent United Methodist Women are taking orders for their fourth annual Christmas cookie and candy and fudge sale until Nov. 30. To order, call 814-786-7671.
Orders are to be picked up between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 5 at the church, Walnut Street in Jackson Center, or pick out cookies at the church Dec. 5.
• St. Vincent United Methodist Church, Walnut Street, Jackson Center, will hold a hunter’s breakfast from 5 to 7 a.m. Nov. 30.
Menu includes eggs, pancakes, home fries, bacon, sausage, toast and beverage for $7 and fill a Thermos for $2.
A hunter’s chili dinner will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day. Meal includes homemade chili, bread, slice of pie and beverage. Cost for adults is $7 and children younger than age 10, $3. Chili will also be sold by the quart for $4.

• Women of the Sharon High School class of 1946 gather for a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 2 in Jess’s restaurant, Hermitage.
• Nancy Ollinger-Thiess will lead a book discussion at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Mercer Area Library on “The Secret Between Us” by Barbara Delinsky.

• The Midwestern Local Task Force-Right to Education will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 2 in conference room A of Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV, Grove City.
The meeting is open to parents of children with disabilities.
