Reunion
• Farrell High School class of 1974 holds its 35th class reunion beginning at 6 p.m. Nov. 28 at Farrell American Legion, 613 Martin Luther King Blvd., Farrell.

• All registered donors for the Central Blood Bank fall blood drive from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday at the American Legion in Sharon will receive two free movie tickets to Shenango Valley Cinemas. The Legion is located at 1395 E. State St. Call 1-866-DONORS-1 or go to www.centralbloodbank.org

Fundraisers
• South Pymatuning Volunteer Fire Department holds a pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the fire department, 3505 Tamarack Drive.
The all-you-can-eat breakfast costs $5 for adults and $3 for children younger than age 12. Two eggs can be added to your breakfast for $1.
• St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 65 S. Keel Ridge Road, Hermitage, is taking orders for: Pogacha, $3.50; nut rolls, $10; apple strudel, $7; sugar doughnuts $7 a dozen and $3.50 for half a dozen.
Orders are to be picked up at noon Nov. 22 at the church.

Holiday events
• The community is invited to join Flossi Holloway for her annual free Thanksgiving dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. Nov. 24 at New Murray Bell Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7579, 314 Idaho St., Farrell.
Mrs. Holloway has been putting on the feast for more than 30 years.
• An annual community Thanksgiving dinner will be held at noon Nov. 26 in the social room of Bethany Presbyterian Church, Mercer.
Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls and beverage will be provided. Those attending are asked to take a salad, vegetable or dessert if they are able.
Any person or family who might be spending Thanksgiving alone is welcome to enjoy fellowship with others and make it a special day.

• Salvation Army, 660 Fisher Ave., Sharon, holds its 20th Annual Thanksgiving Day Feast. Devotions at 11 a.m. followed dinner at served at noon. The home-style sit down meal is open to everyone in the community. Delivery available to seniors who can not attend. Reservations or delivery, call 724-347-5537.

Special event
• New Beginnings Christian Church of Greenville sponsors a free skate night at Papa Wheely’s, 3087 Hadley Road (Route 358) in Hadley, from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 29. All welcome. Admission is free. You can bring your own skates or roller blades or rent them for only $1. Info: 724-588-1276.
