Bus trip
• McQuiston Center by the Park in Sandy Lake is planning a bus trip to Riverside Dinner Theater in Cambridge Springs on Dec. 4 for a Christmas show, “Forever Plaid, Plaid Tidings.” The bus will depart at 11 a.m. for a noon lunch and matinee. Call 724-376-3608 to reserve a seat.
Fundraiser
• Christ Lutheran Church, 396 Buhl Blvd., Sharon, is having a rummage/yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The church is also selling tickets for Lock, Stock & Barrel Subs to help benefit the Reed Family Fund. The $4 tickets are for half of a chopped ham, salami and cheese sub. For tickets, call 724-981-2070.
All proceeds benefit the Reed Family Fund. Robbie Reed, a 2-year-old who is autistic, got lead poisoning from the paint in the family’s home. They moved out months ago while the lead is being removed and have not been able to go home yet.
Thrivent Financial will supplement any proceeds from these events.

– Highmark Senior Products, 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 29 provides information on supplemental insurance for Medicare recipients who want additional coverage.
