Programs
• Lakeview Area Public Library will be celebrating its last day of the summer reading program Wednesday with the Butterfly Lady from New Castle.
After a program for the children, she’ll release butterflies in McQuiston Park, Sandy Lake, and homemade ice cream in the community room of the borough building.

• Mill Creek MetroPark will present Bug Day from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 3 at MetroPark Farm, Route 46 across from the Canfield Fairgrounds.
Activities will include bug games, bug races and bug hunt. All participants can earn a “Master of Bugology” degree. Special displays will feature live and preserved insects and arachnids, both local and exotic.

Meetings
• Packard Electric and Delphi Packard Local 717 retirees will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Local 717’s Union Hall in Warren Commerce Park, 2950 Sferra Ave.
Bring a labeled covered dish and table service. Pizza will be served for lunch and bingo will be played instead of having a speaker this month.
• Sharon High School class of 1963 will hold their monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. July 26 at Jess’s Restaurant, Hermitage.
• Hickory High School class of 1988 committee members will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday at D’Avanzo’s, Hermitage.

• Farrell High School class of 1947 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Perkin’s Restaurant, 2945 E. State St., Hermitage.
