Now in its fifth year, the Hermitage Arts Festival becomes more of a community event each time.
Aside from a long list of artist booths and musical acts and food vendors, the festival also will feature children’s events, reduced price movie admissions and a car cruise.
The festival kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday with a concert by the River Saints. Regular festival hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. The festival takes place in Rodney White Olympic Park, behind the Hermitage City Building on North Hermitage Road.
These artists will show and sell their work:
• Laura Stuart-Smith — pop bottle cap jewelry, beaded jewelry and decorative items.
• Mary Fay Templeton — watercolors.
• Jennifer Cole — sterling and glass jewelry.
• Donna Little — pewter, copper & brass jewelry.
• Brock and Neina Morocco — spray paint artwork.
• Mary Ann Detweiler — handmade baskets.
• Susan Dexter — fiber art.
• Walter Dolata — wood items carved from cedar.
• Joanne DeMarco — jewelry.
• Lynn Tommelleo — candles.
• William Weese — decorative art
