Lipbone Redding jams on Monday at Tully’s
SHARON — Fresh on the heels of his newly released CD, “Party on the Fire Escape,” voicetrumentalist Lipbone Redding plays at 8 p.m. Monday in Tully’s Irish Pub, Sharon.
Lipbone is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and “voicetrumentalist” — it’s not a trombone playing in his music, but Lipbone’s own lip-music, said a release.
“Hard to tell the difference unless you witness this phenomenon live,” said the release.
Lipbone, alongside his two-man orchestra, charts “unique yet familiar territory by combining rowdy New Orleans-style dance hall repartee and ’70s flavored Ghetto Soul ...,” said the release.
