Mercer County Senior Centers, divisions of Mercer County Area Agency on Aging Inc., announce activities for July.

All centers will be closed Friday for Independence Day.

Transportation is available to and from the centers. Reservations must be made by 2 p.m. the day before the service is needed. Call Mercer County Community Transit at 800-222-8797 or 724-981-6222.

July 10 is Senior Day at Mercer County Grange Fair with door prizes, concessions, exhibits, rides and one-price admission beginning at 4 p.m. The schedule is 3 to 4 p.m., Senior Fun Fair Games; 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., music by Johnny Oakes; 4 p.m., penny bingo; 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., music by Austie; and 6:30 to 7 p.m., Tamarack Lake Cloggers. Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program representatives will distribute $20 vouchers to income-eligible seniors. Transit is available.

Other local Farmers Market distributions are as follows:

• Farrell — 1 to 3 p.m., July 10, Lavigne Manor.

• Greenville — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., July 10, White-Cliff Nursing Home picnic pavilion, 110 Fredonia Road, Hempfield Township (with complimentary hot dogs and drinks provided by White-Cliff); 1 to 4 p.m. July 11, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7599, 115 Edgewood Drive, Reynolds; 1 to 3 p.m. July 17, Moose Family Center, 132 Shenango St.; and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 23 and 30, both in Greenville Senior Service Center.

• Grove City — 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Fridays in Grove City Senior Center; and 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays, Pine Grove Community Center.

• Hermitage — July 9, Shenango Valley Senior Community Center; and July 14, Garden Way Apartments, both 1 to 3 p.m.

• Sandy Lake — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays in McQuiston Center by the Park.

• Sharon — July 7, McDowell Manor; July 15, Connelly Manor; July 17, Riverview Manor; and July 18, Salvation Army, all 1 to 3 p.m.

• Sharpsville — 1 to 3 p.m., July 8, Mertz Towers.

• Sheakleyville — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 7, Sheakleyville Community Volunteer Fire Hall, 3278 Perry Highway.

• West Middlesex — 2 to 4 p.m., July 25, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6233, West Middlesex.
