Fundraisers

• A spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction to benefit Heather Lorigan Turk will be Sunday at Hempfield Township Volunteer Fire Department’s Station One Banquet Center on Sixth Avenue. Serving will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m.

Cost is $5 for ages 12 and older; $3 for senior citizens and children ages 5 to 12; and free for children ages 4 and younger. Takeouts available.

• The annual ice cream social at Jerusalem Christian Church, 560 Donation Road, Otter Creek Township, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday or until the ice cream is gone.

Sandwiches will be available and cake will also be served.

The social is open to the public. 

• Sharpsville Area Historical Society holds an old-fashioned ice cream social from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Mahaney Park (Sharpsville Plaza).

Ice cream and toppings, cake, hot dogs, soft drinks and a variety of entertainment will be part of the fun.

Ice cream and cake are $5 for adults and $3 for children younger than age 10. Hot dog plates will be $1.50.
