Teen-run bake sales will benefit Grove City library
Members of the Teen Literary Club of the Grove City Community Library will host their annual summer bake sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday on the front lawn of the library.

Teen-run bake sales will benefit Grove City library
Members of the Teen Literary Club of the Grove City Community Library will host their annual summer bake sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday on the front lawn of the library. A wide variety of homemade cookies will be available to purchase for 25 cents each. All proceeds will benefit the Grove City Community Library Building Fund.
Master Gardeners hosting open garden tour
COOLSPRING TOWNSHIP — Master Gardeners will host an open garden tour from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Mercer County 4-H Park, U.S. Route 19, Coolspring Township. The butterfly, herb, crescent moon, vegetable, ornamental grass and shade gardens. Master Gardeners will give guided tours and answer gardening questions.
Attend Sliders game, support pet rescue group
The Slippery Rock Sliders will team up with Lyons Den Rescue Inc., of Slippery Rock, at their 7:05 p.m. June 24 game to present “Hittin’ with the Hounds.” Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash and must be well-behaved. All dogs and owners will be asked to stay in the lawn seating section. Two sets of bleachers are available there, however it is recommended that you bring your own lawn chair or blanket. General admission tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the gate. The event supports Lyons Den Rescue. For tickets or information, call Amy Wentzel at 724-458-0752.
