Wilhelm Winery holding summer wine fest

Theater troupe welcomes actors for July production

GREENVILLE — The Greenville-based Young People’s Theater is moving on after 29 years and is now known as the Penn-Ohio Young Actors Playhouse, according to a news release issued by director Charlotte D’Alfonso.

The Playhouse is sponsored by the Community Foundation of Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio and this year’s production set for July 15 through 18 is “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.”

The play will be held at St. Michael’s Lateran Hall on Orchard Street, Greenville, at 2:30 p.m. July 15 and 7 p.m. July 16 through 18. For more information, call 724-988-9509

First Rust Belt Festival set for June 6-7

YOUNGTOWN -- Local artists and musicians will come together June 6 and 7 to make Youngstown an arts destination during the first Artists of the Rust Belt Festival, sponsored by Rust Belt Brewing Co.

More than 25 regional artists representing a wide variety of media will exhibit and sell their work while local bands and musicians perform at the historic B&O Station, 530 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown. Hours are noon to 9 p.m. June 6 and noon to 6 p.m. June 7. Admission is free.
