Meetings

• Sawhill retirees meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the American Legion, East State Street, Sharon.

• Farrell High School class of 1945 gathers at noon Tuesday at Jess’s Restaurant, Hermitage.

• Wimodausis spring party will begin at noon May 13 at the Cathedral in New Castle. Past presidents will also be honored.

Reservations due today with either Dorothy Bort of Fairmont Avenue or Judy Barron of East Maitland Lane, both New Castle.

• AARP Shenango Valley Chapter 3616 meets Wednesday at Shenango Valley Senior Center, 220 N. Buhl Farm Drive, Hermitage.

Blood pressure screenings for members will be available beginning at 12:30 p.m. prior to the meeting by McGonigle Ambulance personnel.

Sherris Moreira-Byers, editor of “Views and Voices,” will be the guest speaker.

Arlene Turner, community service choir, reminds members that volunteers for the farmers market voucher program will be needed later in the summer.

• Numismatics — Wheatland Mercer County Coin Club meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Wheatland Borough Building.

Buy, sell or trade. There will be special raffles.

Refreshments available. Guests welcome.

• Farrell High School class of 1949 gathers for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s Restaurant, East State St., Hermitage.
