Fundraisers

• Wheatland-Farrell United Methodist Church, 75 Mercer Ave., Wheatland, holds an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Cost is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children ages 4 to 12 and children younger than age 3 are free.

The breakfast is sponsored by the Trustees.

• A spaghetti dinner and Chinese auction to benefit Charlie Hoffman will be noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Mercer Fire Department.

Charlie was the victim of an accidental shooting and is in a rehab unit at St. Elizabeth Hospital. The shooting left Charlie with spinal cord injuries and is paralyzed from the chest down.

Tickets for Chinese auction on sale all day. Auction begins at 5 p.m.

• Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department holds a braised steak dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. March 7 at Jefferson Township Building, 7407 Lamor Road.

Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children younger than age 12. Takeouts available.

• Farrell Women’s Service Club card and bingo party is set for 1 p.m. March 15 at John XXIII Home, 2250 Shenango Valley Freeway, Hermitage.

Cost is $5. Tickets are limited and can be obtained from any club member or by calling Paula Chieffo, 724-981-1193. All profits go towards scholarship funds.

• Volant Volunteer Fire Company holds an all-you-can-eat buckwheat-pancake and sausage day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 7. Regular pancakes will be served.

Cost is $6 for adults; $5 seniors; $3 children age 6 to 12; and children younger than age 5 is free.
