Fundraisers

• Kinsman United Methodist Church trustees will hold their chicken and biscuit dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 18 at the church, 8431 State St.

Tickets are $7 for adults; $3.50 for children age 4 to 12; and children younger than age 3 are free. Takeouts available by calling 330-876-5641. The church is handicap accessible.

• The Brookfield United Methodist Church, 6951 Grove St., Brookfield, holds an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 21.

Menu includes spaghetti, meatballs, salad bar, bread and butter, beverage and homemade dessert. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children age 6 to 12. Takeouts available beginning at 3:30 p.m.

• The Kyle Bly Memorial Foundation will be hosting “Kyle’s G-3 Game Day — A Games & Grub Gathering” Feb. 21 at Tully’s Restaurant in downtown Sharon. Doors open at 1 p.m.; cost is $10.

One lucky player will win a free Nintendo Wii. There will be plenty of giveaways and a gift basket raffle. For $5 more, you can enter the Wii Bowling Tournament where prizes will be awarded to the top “professional,” “amateur” and “under 12” bowlers. Bowling tournament will begin at 2 p.m.  Info: visit www.kylebly.org or call Karen at 724-699-2863. All proceeds benefit the Kyle Bly Memorial Foundation.

Program

• The Erie Branch of the Lupus Foundation of Pennsylvania is having an educational program from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4 with Dr. Denise Johnson at the Meadville Medical Center.  Her topic is “Lupus through the Stages of Life.”

Lunch will be provided.

Meetings

• Grove City Area AARP Chapter 3423 meets at noon Feb. 12 at Tower Presbyterian Church in Williamson Hall. The board meets at 11 a.m.

A program will be presented by Laura Colapietro, organizer of Moms for Moms. The meeting is open to all interested persons over the age of 50. Those attending are asked to bring a hot or cold dish, and your own table service. Info: 814-786-7431.
