• Relay For Life Mercer, PPG Reflections and Memories Relay Team, is having a Premier Design Jewelry fundraiser beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mercer Community Church of the Nazarene, 8385 Lamor Road, Mercer. Forty percent of sales will be donated to Relay For Life.

• Baptist Youth Fellowship holds a spaghetti dinner at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at First Baptist Church, 301 W. State St., Sharon. Cost is $6 for adults; $3 for children age 5 to 12; and those ages 4 and younger are free.

• Jackson Center Presbyterian Church, Route 62, Jackson Center, holds a Valentine’s Day dinner beginning at 5 p.m. Feb. 14. Menu includes hamloaf dinner. Cost is $5 per person. Reservations: 724-662-3561. Baby-sitting is available.

Special events

• West Hill Ministries holds a free Valentine’s Day senior citizen lunch at noon Feb. 10. Please note the change in the date. A musical program will be presented by the Rev. Doug Dayton, former rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Sharon. For reservations or transportation, call 724-347-7261, by Friday.

• Juniper Village at the Shenango Inn, 1330 Kimberly Road, Sharon, holds the following events:

Mardi Gras dinner and brass entertainment, 5 p.m. Feb. 11. This party is sure to be irresistibly fun, vibrant, and sassy. Don’t forget to wear your theme colors of purple, green and gold. This dinner is complimentary and we welcome the community. Reservations: 724-347-4000.

Valentine balloon bouquet blow up runs from noon to 3 p.m. Feb. 12. Each order will include a goodie bag and bouquets range in price from $6 to $15. Proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association’s Memory Walk. Orders may be placed by phone, fax or e-mail. Call 724-347-4000, ext. 145, by Feb. 11.

• A Valentine dinner and concert featuring Elvis of the 21st Century & his wife Betty Boop by Doug and Susan Horton will be Feb. 12 at McQuiston Center. Dinner at 6 p.m.; show and dancing at 7 p.m. Menu includes two meats dishes, six sides, dessert and endless beverages. Cost is $10 per person.

Craft Show with Chinese auction, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 27. The craft show features local vendors and their talents. Parking is free. All proceeds go to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Meetings

• West Middlesex High School class of 1965 meets for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Middlesex Diner, West Middlesex.

All classmates from the graduating classes from the 1960’s are invited to attend. Info: Beverly Haller Chlpka, 724-962-4806.

• Grove City Community Library holds a book discussion groups from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the second Thursday of each month. The group facilitator is Eileen Master. The following is a list of upcoming discussions:
