Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Myers, Hartford, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends at a dinner in Iron Bridge Inn, Springfield Township. They also renewed their vows in St. Joseph’s Church, Sharon.

The former Mary Jablonski and Myers were married July 10, 1948, in Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon, and left for their honeymoon in a 1935 Hudson Terraplane.

The couple lived in England in 1948 for two years while Myers served in the U.S. Army Air Force during the Berlin Air Lift. He retired in 1990 from Sawhill Tubular Products Corp., Wheatland.

As members for 45 years of the Hudson Car Club, they enjoy traveling to car shows throughout the U.S. in their 1954 Hudson Hornet and 1947 Hudson truck. They also enjoy spending time with friends and family and dancing wherever there is music. Besides England, the Myerses have visited 45 states, Wales and Scotland.

Their children and spouses are Frank Myers and his wife Pam, Belleair, Fla.; Ron Myers and his wife Liz, Masury; Suzanne and her husband Rich Wolfe, Largo, Fla.; and Mary Sue and her husband Dr. Marc Richman, Harbor Bluffs, Fla.

Four grandchildren, Jeff Myers, Jenn Gursky, Frank Myers and Rachael Mattocks, and a great-grandchild, Eddie Gursky, complete the family.
