Carly, Hermitage, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at a party, hosted by their children, at the Clark Borough Building. At the celebration, the couple exchanged renewed vows and their family presented them with a PowerPoint presentation depicting their life together. The couple will also enjoy a trip to Hawaii.

Carlys celebrate 50th
Mr. and Mrs. John A. Carly, Hermitage, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at a party, hosted by their children, at the Clark Borough Building. At the celebration, the couple exchanged renewed vows and their family presented them with a PowerPoint presentation depicting their life together. The couple will also enjoy a trip to Hawaii.
The former Judy Sanford and Carly were married Feb. 16, 1957, at the former Farrell United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ernest V. Rupert.
Mr. Carly retired from Sharon Steel, Roemer Works, as a armature winder in the electric shop after 38 years.
Mrs. Carly retired in 2001 from Brookfield Local School District as a second grade teacher for 31 years.
They have lived in Hermitage since 1983 and are active members of the Hickory United Methodist Church, Hermitage.
Their children are Richard Carly and John J. Carly, both Hermitage; and William and Patricia Stafford, Clark.
Five grandchildren complete the family.
